How to Apply for admission to the IGH Graduate School

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science, Law, Medicine, Education or other. Currently, Institute of Global Harmony (IGH) is accepting applications for its pilot program in Sardarshahr, Rajasthan, India.
There are a total of 40 seats for the 2-yr postgraduate program leading to a MGH (Masters of Arts in Global Harmony) Degree.
There are a total of 20 seats for the 1-yr postgraduate program leading to a DEH (Diploma in Existential Harmony) Diploma.
There are a total of 20 seats for the six-month postgraduate program leading to a CEH (Certificate in Existential Harmony) Certificate.

Do the following:

  1. Fill out the online application form. Application Guidelines may be found in the How to Apply Guidelines.
  2. Submit the Application by September 1, 2019 with the following
  • An essay not to exceed 500 words about a life incident, an educational shortcoming, or an issue pertaining to the prevailing social, economic or political orders that has caused injustice to a human being, a society or a nation and your probable solution through: 1) changing the educational system, or 2) suggesting the needed change in the prevailing orders.
  • A recent photograph,
  • A non-refundable processing fee of USD 25.00. Students from the SAARC countries pay USD 12.50. The fee is payable by bank draft or International Money Order, payable to IGH-Gandhi Vidya Mandir, Sardarshahr, Rajasthan 331401, India. Further information in the online application form.

You will be notified about acceptance on October 15, 2019. In case of acceptance, all selected students are required to do the following:

  1. Pay the admission fee according to the postgraduate program of your choice.
  2. The fee is payable by Bank Draft or International Money Order, payable to IGH-Gandhi Vidya Mandir, Sardarshahr, Rajasthan 331401, India.
  3. Full refund will be made if a student changes his/her mind or the program is postponed and the student requests for the same by December 1, 2019.
  4. All students, enrolled at IGH at Sardarshahr, Rajasthan, are responsible for their personal health insurance or healthcare needs during their stay and travel within India or abroad as a student of IGH. Please note: Smoking, drinking alcohol and eating non-vegetarian food is strictly prohibited on campuses of IGH as part of Gandhi Vidya Mandir establishment and following the tradition left by Gandhi.
  5. All foreign students upon confirmation of admission, immediately apply for an Indian Student Visa at: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/info1.jsp The visa can also be applied at Indian Missions or Consulate Offices in the student home country. The Embassy/Consulate will promptly convey the decision to the applicant as soon as it is received from New Delhi.
  6. All students will be assigned a room based on double occupancy at Milap Bhavan. Only the same gender students would be assigned to a room. Initially, the Room-Partners will be randomly selected. After the First Semester, there would be reassignment of the rooms based on mutual agreement.

Around December 15, 2019, all students arriving at IGH, Sardarshahr, Rajasthan, India will be sent detailed information about the steps to follow after their arrival in India. Classes begin on January 20, 2020, the birth anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
